We buy well-run hydrovac companies and help them grow.

HydroCore acquires owner-operated hydrovac businesses in Western and Central Canada. Your managers keep running the business, and you choose how involved you stay. We add capital, back-office support and better tools.

How HydroCore is built

Operators stay local. The group provides what scale can.

In each region we buy an established anchor company, our platform company for that region. Smaller companies can join it over time.

Judgment stays local

The managers who run each company keep making the calls in the field and with customers. Each regional platform keeps its own name and its customer relationships.

Shared services

Finance, safety, HR and technology are run once for the group, so each operator spends less time on overhead and more on the work.

Capital to grow

A larger group can fund new trucks, refinance fleet debt and add capacity in ways a single owner-operator often cannot.

Who we look for

Established hydrovac companies with a strong safety record, a good name with customers and an owner thinking about what comes next.

Typically 5 to 25 trucks. Smaller than that? Talk to us anyway: smaller companies can join a regional platform.
